CHECK-OUT

PROPERTY CHECK-OUT SERVICES LONDON

A Clear Record at the End of the Tenancy

Attic Inventory provides independent property check-out services across London. We compare the condition at the end of the tenancy with the original inventory and check-in record, giving landlords, letting agents and tenants a clear account of any changes.

What Our Check-Out Report Records

Our clerk inspects the property room by room and records changes in condition, cleanliness, fixtures, fittings and contents against the starting inventory.

Photographs support the written observations. Accessible meter readings and keys returned can be recorded where applicable.

The report provides evidence to help the parties discuss the end of the tenancy.

Preparing for Check-Out

Arrange the inspection once the tenant has removed belongings and completed cleaning. Provide the original inventory, check-in report and any agreed amendments.

Confirm the appointment, access arrangements and how keys will be returned. Let us know about agreed works or changes during the tenancy.

Checking these details in advance helps us make a useful comparison and produce a clear report.

Independent End-of-Tenancy Reporting

Attic Inventory has worked with London landlords and letting agents since 2004. Our independent reports describe the condition observed and support informed discussions between the parties.

Age, quality, tenancy length and fair wear and tear should be considered when assessing changes. The report does not decide deductions; any proposed claim should be supported by appropriate evidence.

Property Check-Out FAQs

When should a check-out take place?

Ideally after the tenant has removed belongings and completed cleaning, at the end of the tenancy.

Do you need the original inventory?

Yes. Please provide the inventory, check-in report and agreed amendments so we can compare the starting and ending condition.

Does the report decide deposit deductions?

No. It records observations and evidence. Landlords and tenants agree deductions, or refer an unresolved dispute to the relevant process.

Do you cover my part of London?

We work across Greater London, including Canary Wharf, Docklands, Greenwich, Stratford, Kensington and surrounding areas.

How do I book a check-out?
